SCHOOL OF LAW - INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE COUNSELLING & ADMISSIONS FOR 2025-26

To ensure a smooth online counselling and admissions process, you are advised to adhere to the following instructions:

  • The entire online counselling & admissions process shall be transparently done based on merit and there is no need to visit campus or call the Admissions Office seeking admissions. All counselling and admissions related updates will be available only at sastra.edu.
  • Ascertain your rank in the counselling & admission portal. – Click here: Any discrepancy in +2 Marks or CLAT Scores must be brought to the notice of the Admissions Office immediately via portal under “Contact Us” menu, which will be responded accordingly. No other form of representation will be entertained
  • Allotment of branch is done based on the choices submitted. If there is no vacancy for Choice 1, the allotment will be considered in 2nd / 3rd choice automatically.
  • Once the allotment is made, applicant shall pay the applicable fee online.
  • Applicants are advised to pay the full fee online using Credit Card / Net Banking facility. No extension of dates for fee payment shall be entertained nor is part payment of fee allowed as subsequent rounds of counselling need to be conducted and adequate time is also provided.
  • Fee refund rule shall be as per the undertaking submitted in the online application form and in compliance with competent authority guidelines.
  • You are advised to save a copy of the successful online payment with transaction details. The University requires a maximum of three working days for reconciliation with the payment gateway and bankers. Once confirmed, the admission letter can be downloaded from the portal.
  • Hostel accommodation / transport facility shall be provided based on student registration after payment of tuition fees. The allotment of hostel/transport shall be done later once the opening dates are announced and adequate advance information shall be provided to students.
